      Argentijnse spits Pratto op weg naar Feyenoord

      Lucas Pratto vertrekt naar Feyenoord. De spits van River Plate reist snel naar Rotterdam, waar hij medisch gekeurd zal worden. De Argentijn wacht de beladen stadsderby van 3 januari tegen Boca Juniors niet eens meer af. Pratto, vijfvoudig international van Argentinië, is geen basisspelers bij River Plate. Maar technisch directeur Enzo Francescoli ziet hem niet graag vertrekken. "Hij heeft aan mij en onze trainer verteld dat hij zijn loopbaan daar wil voortzetten", vertelde de oud-aanvaller dinsdag aan Argentijnse verslaggevers. "Lucas wil deze kans grijpen. Voor hem is het een mooie kans. Feyenoord is een grote club in Nederland. Ik begrijp hem wel." Feyenoord heeft na de huurperiode van een halfjaar ook een optie tot koop bedongen. Met de huur van Pratto krijgt trainer Dick Advocaat wat hij wil, namelijk een nieuwe spits. Nicolai Jørgensen is al een tijd uit vorm, Robert Bozeník is nog herstellende van een blessure en de talentvolle Naoufal Bannis is voorlopig nog te licht bevonden. In Voetbalpraat wordt de aanstaande overgang van Pratto naar De Kuip besproken. De aanwezige gasten bestempelen de aanwinst onder meer als 'een Mitroglou-achtige aankoop' en zetten hun twijfels bij zijn fitheid.
